International Adoption Day is an annual cultural event in Brisbane, where the adoption community celebrates adoption and the difference it has made to our lives. The day is all about our children and their birth culture. The highlight of the day is the Parade of Nations, where the children dress in their national costumes. There’s lots of entertainment and activities for the children, and of course, lots of cultural food. Information tables are set up for families to ask questions about various aspects of intercountry adoption. The day is open to all families regardless of where they are in their adoption journey.

International Adoption Day 2019 will be held on Sunday 28 July at the Samford Community Hall.
